Well the past 24-48 hours has been QUITE an adventure for Skylanders fans.
Rather than making a post for each new item, I’m chucking it all in one post. So BUCKLE UP!
WAVE 4 VEHICLES
First off, if you missed it yesterday, we got our first look at the four vehicles that will be making up Skylanders SuperChargers Wave 4.
In this wave it looks like we are getting…
- Hot Streak (releasing outside of the Starter Pack)
- Soda Skimmer
- Sun Runner
- Tomb Buggy
We also still look to be getting a two new dual packs and a new triple pack. When exactly will they release in the US? Hard to say. But they look to be released sooner rather than later.
WAVE 4 FIGURES
In Wave 4 it looks like we are getting 3 figures
- Astroblast
- Bone Bash Roller Brawl
- Spitfire
It’s interesting as Bone Bash Roller Brawl is the only “new” figure, as Spitfire and Astroblast were both already released in other packages (Starter Pack and Sky Racing Action Pack). Plus obviously Bone Bash Roller Brawl is being released in a dual pack and triple pack.
WAVE 4 VARIANTS
It wouldn’t be a new launch without a line of new chase variants right? Well it looks like we are receiving two (so far). They are NOT patina this time…. but copper!
First off, a store employee (in Missouri) shared an image of a Bronze Bone Bash Roller Brawl she said she saw at her store on the Skylanders Facebook page.
In addition to that, smoldersmith77 also shared an image of a bronze/copper Tomb Buggy
WRAP UP / CONCLUSION
PHEW! What a crazy day in the Skylanders fandom.
So the big question… WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO PICK THESE UP AT MY STORE?!
No date has been set, obviously Toys”R”Us would be a safe bet. They have been spotted across a couple of different states, but still doesn’t seem like a wide release. So maybe by the end of this week or early of next week you’ll be able to stop by and pick up the new wave of figures and vehicles!
